Fifteen British tourists missing after China quake

BEIJING, May 13 (Reuters) A group of about 15 British tourists were out of reach in the Chinese county worst hit by a massive earthquake that struck the region, China's Xinhua news agency reported today.

The group was most likely in Sichuan province's Wolong, an area famous for its Giant Panda research centre, the report said, citing provincial authorities. Thirty-seven people were killed in a nearby county when their tourist bus was buried in a landslide triggered by the quake, which struck yesterday, the report said, but it was unclear whether there were any foreigners among the group.
