Tara Muzik is a 24 hour music channel that showcases Bengali music from several genres including Rabindrasangeet, Nazrulgeeti, songs of Atulprasad-Rajanikanta-Dwijendralal, folk, band-music and what is known as Bengali modern songs. Since its inception in 2005, Tara Muzik has always been intrinsically linked with Bengali music and culture, reaching beyond geographical barriers and catering to the global Bengali community. The active participation of its viewers in all the live shows, where they call in from across the world bears testimony to their patronage and loyalty towards the channel.
